Our Story
The Simian Theory was founded in 2010 by 3 physicians and has since included a host of great musicians whose focus has been to play the more under-appreciated jam songs from the past.
What Inspires Us
We are inspired to play music for music's sake. We firmly believe in music doing good for the world and, to that end, use many of our shows to support philanthropic interests. We are influenced by the great bands and musicians of days past including The Allman Bros, The Grateful Dead, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and Pink Floyd

Single Barrel Cigar Company
The Cigar Company of choice for the Simian Theory
Single Barrel Cigar Company founded and located in Y'bor city, FL provides high quality, cigars to the Tampa Bay, Chicago, and Louisville communities. A blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan leaf is barrel aged for 8-10 weeks prior to being rolled locally in Ybor City. The cigars are then meticulously packaged in glass tubos that contain a dusting of barrel char to maintain each stick at peak freshness and flavor! Whether you choose the Connecticut or Habano wrap, you are in for a real treat!
